Máté Balogh and Márton Piller Duo

Both members of the duo have been part of the Snétberger Program for many years and have successfully completed the Snétberger MasterClass advanced level training, where they learned from American jazz instructor and world-renowned vibraphonist David Friedman, among others. After successfully completing his studies at the Music Academy, Márton is now teaching in the Snétberger Program.

The duo’s repertoire consists mostly of traditional jazz standards, but they also play their own songs, influenced by great predecessors such as Brad Mehldau and Theloniuos Monk. They also draw inspiration from folk music and modern genres, creating a truly exciting blend of past and present.
